Vanguard Blackout Periods Begins Wednesday, July 2
The blackout period begins at 4 p.m. ET on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, and is expected to end the week of July 20, 2025. (Empower is targeting Monday, July 21). The blackout period is the time during which you will not be able to access your Plan account or request any transactions as the Plan transitions from Vanguard to Empower. You will be notified when you have access to your account at Empower.
Your Plan investments will remain in your selected investments and will continue to gain and/or lose value during the blackout period depending on market conditions. You are encouraged to review your Plan account prior to and/or after the blackout period and adjust your asset allocation if necessary.
Retirement Plan Transition
